Care Flight is on stand by 24 hours a day, seven days a week with experienced critical care flight nurses, specially trained flight paramedics and skilled pilots to respond to the requests from public safety agencies, hospitals, physicians, or other health or public service organizations.
Care Flight has four AS350 B3 AStar’s. The aircrafts maneuverability, superior visibility with all seats facing forward and low vibration level means the transport will be as comfortable as it is efficient. The B3 is a workhorse known for its outstanding capability in hot weather and high altitude operations. The AS350 B3 version offers the highest performance in its category with enhanced safety and reduced pilot workload. The B3 has a 142 gallon fuel capacity allowing for a 300+ mile round-trip transport range without refueling. The cruise speed is 130 to 160 mph.

All Care Flight helicopters are equipped with state of the art night vision goggles (NVG), avionics and communications equipment. These include GPS navigation with weather radar, terrain avoidance warning sytems and satellite tracking and communications equipment. Care Flight is able to communicate with all first responder agencies that we regularly respond along side of by future of our radio system that provides the capability to talk on virtually any public service radio frequency.
